Early Rifle Season
Our Bob Marshall Wilderness hunts are during the “early” rifle season, meaning we hunt elk in the rut with rifles. White River and Cliff Creek are the early hunting camps. This season begins September 15 and we stay in this camp until late October.General Season Hunts in the Scapegoat Wilderness
We then pull our “early” camp and move to the Scapegoat Wilderness to offer our “general” season hunts, staying until the end of the hunting season. These are our Lost Cabin and Horse Mountain hunts. We have a small amount of private land hunting during the general season. ALL of our hunts are COMBINATION mule deer and elk hunts.
Click on any of these hunts above to find out more detailed information. We are proud of the fact that our return guest rate is very high! Come find out why.
Do you know how hunt licensing works in MONTANA?
Hunters may apply for licensee online at www.fwp.mt.gov. The price of these tags changes from year to year.Hunters may purchase a Big Game Combo tag, Elk only or Deer only. In the early season rifle hunt, and ELK ONLY tag is a good idea and all other hunts are combo hunts so we recommend getting the Big Game Combo.
